1) Why are Vision Furniture’s cushions better than other cushions?

Cushion material selection is huge in the quality of a chair cushion. Cushions may look similar, but they are all not the same. Our foam selection is of a high grade foam that is pure and durable. Our foam will not flatten easier like other low quality foams that contain many impurities and are of poor density. Our standard cushion material will not shrink when washed and, our stitching is strong and will last. Our cushions are intended to be a workhorse product that can be reused. Our cushions will keep their shape and last longer than our competitors’.

2) What is the difference between Velcro and Ties for my cushion and, which do you recommend:

Velcro cushion straps are standard on all of our Chiavari Chair cushions. Velcro provides an easy solution for fastening the chair cushion to the chair back. Each cushion will have two Velcro straps that fasten to the 2 rear leg posts. Velcro is a standard for commercial venues and rental companies because they provide a very secure cushion to chair connection. And, the Velcro is easy to attach to the chair. This is preferable when handling many Chiavari Chairs.

On the other hand, cushion ties provide a very elegant look. Though, they may require additional work.

3) How do I wash my chair cushion?

To wash your seat cushion, you must first remove the inside foam from the outside fabric cover.

Do so by folding the cushion in half and then gently roll the cushion cover off so not to put too much stress on the cushion zipper.

You should then spot treat any stains with your favorite stain cleaner following their directions. Cushion covers can be washed warm using a gentle cycle. Tumble-dry at a low temperature setting.

4) What is the easiest way to put the cushion foam back into the cushion cover?

Returning the foam back into a washed cushion cover can be a difficult task. We have solved this difficulty with our “Cushion Sheath” which is a tool that will help with returning the foam back into the cushion cover. Cushion sheaths are included with all Chiavari Chair and Cushion orders.

5) Which cushion colors are most popular?

The most requested cushion color is ivory because it is neutral and can work in almost all environments.

Black is also popular for those customers that want a cushion color that will be more resistant to showing dirt.

White Cushions are always popular for white chairs. However, white mixed with black gives a more edgy and contemporary look.

6) What are designer cushions?

Our line of designer cushions feature new fabrics and are an alternative for a customer that is looking for a more custom and designer look. These cushions typically feature fabric ties and are more expensive than our standard cushions.
